HISTORY: The cuvée «L’Or des Caraïbes» and «La Tour de l’Or», as rare as they are unpredictable, represent the most prestigious cuvées in the Chantal Comte Rums Collection. Their number is limited and Chantal Comte selects them with her traditional requirement for their exceptional qualities. As their breeding, their bottling mobilizes an extreme attention to detail.

EYE: Old gold, luminous, solar. Thick and voluptuous tears.

NOSE: Notes of chocolate orangettes, cocoa (very present), candied exotic fruits, candied shadek (grapefruit), buttery notes.

MOUTH: A soft and muscular attack: we start with sweetness and it goes crescendo to the power of an exceptional rum. A personality that is its own and that takes power during the tasting with notes of ginger, cocoa, precious wood. No roughness. A total harmony. A delight of insider!

PROOF: 64 % alc./vol.

SERVICE TIP: Serve at room temperature in a tulip- shaped stemmed glass from Riedel or Spiegelau.

GOES WELL WITH: This dazzling rum can be consumed alone. It is a meditation rum that is self-sufficient. But it can be accompanied by a soft foie gras, game such as a hare “Lièvre à la Royale”, a cheese just as royal: Brillat- Savarin. For dessert, give preference to chocolate in all its glory.

Enjoy this fine rum responsibly.
